The Brussels Representation Office of the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce has the pleasure to serve its member companies and the members of the Turkish Cypriot civil society in the following ways:
 

Information on the EU structure, policies and decision-making procedures;

Information on business demands of and cooperation opportunies with companies operating in Belgium and other EU countries;

Communication of business and cooperation demands of members to the European business community through European Chambers of Commerce;

Faciliatation of the resolution of conflicts that may arise in business transactions between member companies and counterparts in Europe;

Organisation of business trips and identify of relevant counterparts in Belgium and other EU countries;

Translation and interpretation support in business meetings;

Support to NGOs in establishing relations with counterparts in the EU and in communicating their position to the relevant actors in the EU including the dissemination of publications to target groups;

Organisation of customised study trips for NGOs;

Information on conferences, seminars, study courses and fairs;

Logistic support through telephone, fax, internet and meeting room facilities in our office;

Accomodation in partner hotels at preferential rates.
 


Relations with EU-level umbrella organisations:

European Small Business Alliance (ESBA) :
Established in 1998, ESBA is one of the leading EU-level business organisations representing the interests of around 1 million micro and small enterprises and the self-emploed in the EU in 36 different European countries. KTTO became a full member of ESBA in January 2010 taking one more step towards integrating the Turkish Cypriot business community in Europe. In May 2010, KTTO Board Member Salih Celiker was elected to the ESBA Board of Directors representing the interests of KTTO members at the highest level.

Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES):
KTTO Brussels Office has a working relationship with Eurochambres with which it shares its office space in the Eurochambres Chamber House. KTTO Brussels Representative Mualla Çıraklı participates in the monthly Eurochambres Brussels Delegates meeetings representing the Turkish Cypriot business community.

NIROC:
KTTO Brussels Office is a member of the Network of Interest Representation Offices from New Members, Candidates and Potential Countries – NIROC.

Transatlantic Network 2020:
KTTO Brussels Representative Mualla Çıraklı is one of the 20 members elected from Europe in 2010 to participate in the British Council’s Transatlantic Network 2020, which brings together young leaders from Europe and North America to discuss transatlantic issues. Mualla Çıraklı will represent KTTO in this platform for the next three years.
